To meet the passengers’ demand, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to restore the services of daily passenger trains between Rangapara North – Dekargaon and Rangiya – Dekargaon from January 7.
The NF Railway has also decided to resume services of the bi-weekly passenger train services between Silchar and Dharmanagar from January 4, for the benefit of short-distance passengers.
To clear extra rush of passengers, one special train will also run between Guwahati and New Haflong for nine trips from each direction, said a statement.
Train No. 05823 Rangapara North – Dekargaon daily passenger special will leave from Rangapara North at 06:20 am to reach Dekargaon at 06:55 am.
In the return direction, train No. 05824 Dekargaon- Rangapara North daily passenger special will leave from Dekargaon at 10:40 pm to reach Rangapara North at 11:25 pm.
Train No. 05861 Rangiya – Dekargaon daily passenger special will leave from Rangiya at 03:30 pm to reach Dekargaon at 08:15 pm.
In the return direction, train No. 05862 Dekargaon- Rangiya daily passenger special will leave from Dekargaon at 07:30 am to reach Rangiya at 11:55 am.
Train No. 05677 Silchar- Dharmanagar bi-weekly passenger special will restore from January 4.
The train will leave from Silchar every Tuesday and Friday at 05.30 pm to reach Dharmanagar at 10:35 pm.
In the return direction, train No. 05678 Dharmanagar – Silchar passenger special will restore from January 5.
The train will leave from Dharmanagar on every Wednesday and Saturday at 05:30 am to reach Silchar at 10:20 am.
Train No. 05611 Guwahati – New Haflong special will run for 9 trips from January 2 – January 16, 2022, leaving Guwahati on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 05:30 pm to reach New Haflong at 12:30 pm the next day.
In the return direction, train No. 05612 New Haflong – Guwahati special will run for 9 trips from January 3 to January 17, 2022 leaving New Haflong on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 02:00 am to reach Guwahati at 08:35 am.
