GUWAHATI: The National Board for Wildlife has greenlit five significant projects for Assam.
This was announced by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Among these projects is the Chapaguri-Amteka Asom Mala road extension, stretching all the way to the Bhutan border.
Sarma hailed the approval of these projects by the National Board for Wildlife, emphasizing their importance for enhancing road and railway connectivity across Assam.

Alongside the Chapaguri-Amteka Asom Mala project road, the approved initiatives include the Elevated Corridor near Kaziranga National Park, the Guwahati Ring Road project encompassing the Narengi-Kuruwa Bridge, as well as the Deepor Beel Railway Elevated Railway Corridor and Deepor Beel Elevated Railway Corridor.
