Assam, on Saturday, registered a thrilling win over Bihar in the ongoing Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy. 

Assam defeated Bihar by three wickets thanks to a breezy knock by skipper Riyan Parag. 

Parag smashed four towering sixes and as many fours during his knock of 33-ball 58. 

Amlanjyoti Paresh Das also contributed with an unbeaten 30-ball 22. 

Assam chased down the target of 136 with 7 balls to spare. 

Earlier, Assam bowlers Rajjakuddin and Mukhtar Hussain scalped three and two wickets respectively to restrict Bihar at 135 for 8 in 20 overs.

It was Assam’s second successive win in the group. 

Assam is now placed comfortably in the second spot in the points table.
