Shishu Sarothi hosted an interactive session with Sriram Rajamani, Managing Director of Microsoft Research India, on Monday.
At the engaging session, he highlighted the use of modern technology as a tool to improve the lives of disabled people.
Rajamani said, “Technology can play a big role in creating accessible and inclusive opportunities.”
He also shared the contribution of Microsoft research lab and various other programmes under its corporate social responsibility initiative for social development and transformation.
Shishu Sarothi is one of the pioneering organizations working in the field of disability.
Shishu Sarothi got the opportunity to hear Rajamani’s insight on how technology can be made accessible and how it can be used as a tool to improve the lives of disabled people.
He was accorded a warm welcome by the children, governing body members and all the staff of Shishu Sarothi.
In his speech, executive director of Shishu Sarothi, Arman Ali, elaborated on the kind of work that the NGO does and the struggles faced by organizations working in the field of disability due to the lack of knowledge and accessibility to new technologies.
