Minor re-shuffle in Assam Police Department

A minor re-shuffle has been effected in the Assam Police department.

The re-shuffle has been done following the Assam-Mizoram border clash on Monday.

Hailakandi SP Ramandeep Kaur has been transferred and posted as SP Cachar.

Notably, Cachar SP – Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant sustained injury after Mizoram police opened fire during the clash on Monday.

Meanwhile, Chirang SP Gaurav Upadhyay has been transferred and posted as Hailakandi SP.

On the other hand, DCP (Traffic) of Guwahati Police – Pranjit Borah has been transferred and posted as Chirang SP.
