GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is poised to campaign for the BJP in Gujarat during the Lok Sabha elections.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s name was included in the list of 40 star campaigners for the western state of Gujarat by the BJP.

The list of star campaigners of the BJP was released by the saffron party on Saturday (April 13) evening.
Besides Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, the other big names in the list of BJP star campaigners for Gujarat include Prime Minister Narebdra Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda, union ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari.
Union ministers Smriti Irani and S Jaishankar are also set to campaign for the BJP in Gujarat for the Lok Sabha elections.
