The Kendriya Vidyalaya authority of Udalguri on Wednesday convened an emergent meeting of parents at Kendriya Vidyalaya premises in Udalguri town and discussed the various problems of the school and the parents related to the teaching- learning process of the students at school.
The meeting to this effect was initiated by principal of the school, SK Jha where in R R Sapkota, Gunjit Das, Dipak Nirola and Sanjit Daimari, president, vice president, secretary and joint secretary respectively of the parents’ body and few other parents drew the attention of the school authority towards the problems of the school as a whole and problems being faced by the children.
The parents hoped that the core issue of early construction of permanent school building at the proposed site would be completed within three-four years.
The parents on the occasion also thanked the present Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri, Dilip Kr Das for taking prompt initiative to complete the school building at the earliest.
Principal of the school, S K Jha in his speech expressed his gratefulness to the parents for their active participation in the matters of development of school and said that during his thirty years of service in various places in India, he was overwhelmed by the keen interest of the parents of Kendriya Vidyalaya of Udalguri.
