Kaziranga National Park to open for tourists on Saturday

The Kaziranga National Park, which was closed down for certain renovation works, will reopen for tourists from Saturday.

In a press statement issued by DFO RB Saikia, it has been mentioned due to inclement weather and road condition inside the park, only jeep safari at Kaziranga Range, Kohora and Western Range, Bagori would be open for tourists.

“Jeep Safari in Kaziranga Range, Kohora will be open up to Vaishamari and in Bagori it will be open up to Donga watchtower and Bimoli Tiniali until further orders,” the statement added.

“The date for the opening of Eastern Range, Agoratoli, Burapahar Range, Ghorkakati and elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park will e notified later,” the statement said.
