The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam 2018, on Sunday was delayed in one of the centres in Dibrugarh because of questions papers shortage.
According to one of the students, exam timing was 10 am to 1 pm but the examination at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh centre was taken in two sessions after question paper shortage.
However, many students left the exam midway because they were not supplied the question papers in their preferred languages. They couldn’t understand the question papers because of the language problem.
“We have applied for the examination online and chose our preferred language but in the examination centre we were supplied with English and Hindi question papers. Our exam was due to start at 10 am according to the admit card but due to shortage of question papers it started at 1 pm. We were given the same question papers which were tick marked by the students who finished the exam in the first half,” a student alleged.
Students alleged unfair system as the second half students will be benefitted. They demanded re-examination.
