Informing about the programme in the prestigious institute of the Northeast, IIT Guwahati on its official website on Sunday stated: “IIT Guwahati offers an MTech programme in Data Science. According to information available on the IIT Guwahati website, the curriculum for the MTech programme in data has been designed keeping in view diversity of the students, emphasizing on the foundational subjects the programme expects.
The new programme will be started from the July 2019 academic year.
The programme will be started with a total of 20 seats and the best of the candidate will be selected.
This degree programme, offered by only a few institutions, is a two-year course including one year research exposure in this field.
The online application filling, which started on March 16, 2019, will be closed on April 8, 2019 while the written rest will be held at IIT Guwahati on May 13, 2019 tentatively.
