IIT Guwahati alumni and former president of IIT Guwahati Alumni Association (IITGAA), Arun Jain has been elected as the vice-president of Pan IIT USA.
Arun Jain’s tenure in Pan IIT USA will start on January 1, 2021 and end on December 31, 2022.

IIT Guwahati has congratulated Jain for being elected as the vice-president of Pan IIT USA.
“Congratulations to Arun Jain Alumni of @IITGuwahati and former president of IITGAA for being elected as Vice President of PanIIT USA with tenure starting from 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2022,” IIT Guwahati said on its Twitter handle on Saturday.

The IIT Guwahati Alumni Association (IITGAA) is the official alumni association of the IIT Guwahati.
IITGAA provides a platform to connect the alumni, students, faculty, and staff members of IIT Guwahati.

The goals/mission of PanIIT USA is to promote and enhance a common IIT brand for the IITs and all alumni (branding) in the USA.
It also aims at offering common alumni services to help alumni achieve their professional and personal (or lifestyle) goals in the USA.
The PanIIT USA president, Sundaram ‘Sundy’ Srinivasan, in his message on the organisation’s website, says: “Our team’s commitment has been very clear; we want to bring real value to each and every one of you. We are committed to maximizing the use of the infrastructure built by past teams.”
