The Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport, Guwahati gets four new Food & Beverage (F&B) outlets in different areas of the airport on Thursday.
Anuj Aggarwal, member, HR, Airports Authority of India (AAI), who was the chief guest on the occasion, inaugurated the outlets named ‘Air Beans’.
At the LGBI Airport, the outlets have come up at the ‘arrival visitors’ area, ‘security check in’ area, ‘security hold’ area at ground floor and ‘security hold’ area at first floor of the airport.
This has been a long-pending demand of the people flying through the airport, as it is considered to be the gateway to northeast and the adjoining areas.
Informing about the facilities added to the airport, Aggarwal said that AAI is opening such outlets across the country in clusters.
Aggarwal also added that the other states of the northeast will also see similar kind of facilities in the coming days, reports The Assam Tribune.
“The AAI is committed to providing the best available facilities to the flyers in the entire AAI airports despite facing certain challenges,” he added.
Aggarwal also inaugurated the newly constructed the Guwahati Airport Club Gym located inside the residential colony.
