As part of long term grassroots and youth structure objective, Guwahati City FC (GCFC) in association with Sportscraft management has started initial process of setting up a youth academy in the city.
Initially the proposed academy will be non-residential which shall be turned into a residential one within 5 years, club director Kaustab Chakraborty said in a statement.
To provide world class football training to the students of the academy and introduce them to professional nature of the game, Guwahati City FC has invited applications from qualified and licensed coaches for six posts.
There will be two posts for coaches. Applicants must have minimum AFC B or equivalent license from recognized authority.
There will four posts of assistant coaches. Applicants must have AFC C or AIFF D or equivalent license from recognized authority. CVs can be sent to [email protected].
For technical reasons preference will be given to coaches from Assam and other North-eastern state. Although interested coaches from all over the country can apply, said Chakraborty in the statement.
