Over 46,000 schools in Assam will undergo evaluation in 2022 under the state government’s ‘Gunotsav’ exercise. 

The evaluation process – Gunotsav – will be carried out in two phases, which will cover over 42 lakh students.

A key meeting presided over by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma discussed the framework for Gunotsav in Guwahati on Sunday. 

The first phase of Gunotsav in Assam will be organised from April 5-7 and the second phase from April 20-22.

The proposed exercise will cover 46,251 government, provincialised, and tea garden-managed schools covering 42,51,524 students in Assam.
