Six teams in U10 category fought it out in 10 exciting final round matches on the eighth match day of ongoing second season of Greater Guwahati Baby League (GGBL).

This is Assam’s first ever golden baby football league recognized by All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Final round of U10 category started on Sunday with a qualification match played for the remaining lone spot for the final round of U12 category at International School, Nalapara.

The league which is being organized by Guwahati City FC (GCFC) and Sportscraft Management in association with WAMUL (Purabi Dairy) and supported by Assam Football Association, Decathlon Guwahati, Rmanam Infotech and Gupshup 94.3 FM, saw Rainbow FC securing final spot for the final round of U12 category.

In U10 Final round matches, GCFC Unicorns secured huge victories to take vital steps towards the title.

Khanapara Pegasus, GTC Rhinos, GYSFCC Dragons also won their matches to keep their title race alive.

In U8 category, GCFC Unicorns won their matches and continued their unbeaten march towards the title.

Chandmari Turtles, GTC Rhinos, Montfort Tigers also secured victories to remain in the title race.

In U6 category, Montfort Tigers continue their domination with NFCC Dolphins, GTC Rhinos also registering victories.

On the other hand, GCFC Unicorns defeated APRO 3-2 in U8, 5-0 in U10 category respectively and  drawn both the games against NFR and Kaziranga FA in U12 categories in ongoing APRO Golden Baby League on Sunday.
