The district administration of Kamrup (M) has withdrawn its order on Monday declaring holiday for the next two days in all the schools under the district.

Earlier on Monday, the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (M) had issued an order declaring closure of all schools under the government and private sectors on August 27 & 28.

The DC issued the first order as a measure to give relief to the school children of the district from the hostile weather.

But with the improvement in the weather condition in the city following a spell of shower in the evening, the district administration took the decision to withdraw the order of two days’ holiday.
