The Biography of the woman freedom fighter and Padmabhusan award winner Rani Gaidinliu was released by Lonki Timung, Chairman, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
Speaking on the occasion, Timung highlighted elaborately the life of the woman freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu and her remarkable contribution extended to the Naga tribe.
Timung further said that people would definitely accept this book and it will help in maintaining the age-old traditional relationship of Karbis and Nagas.

Besides, the chairman of KAAC also lauded writer Ajit Timung for his comprehensive step adopted in the field of Karbi literature.
It may be mentioned that on the request of Ajit Timung and his team of Karbi Riso Adorbar, Rani Gaidinliu for the first time visited Karbi Anglong.
Rani Gaidinlu attended as chief guest in the 11th general conference of Karbi Riso Adorbar on 25 February, 1985 held at Howraghat while the author of the biography was the 9th General Secretary of Karbi Riso Adorbar in 1985.
