Former TG teacher of Maharishi Vidya Mandir at Silpukhari in Guwahati, Madhuri Sahasrabudhe, will be among the four dynamic mothers from across the country to campaign for ‘Role of a Mother in Today’s World’ through 22 countries.

As a tribute to motherhood, Foundation for Holistic Development in Academic Field has undertaken a mission ‘Mothers on Wheel’. Madhuri along with three others will be travelling from India to England through 22 countries crossing over 20,000 km.

Madhuri Sahasrabudhe is the wife of Prof Anil Dattatraya Sahasrabudhe, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati who had joined All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as Chairman on July 17, 2015.

Madhuri was a TG teacher in Maharishi Vidya Mandir at Silpukhari in Guwahati from April 1997 – December 2002. She used to teach Science and Biology for class VI to X.

Indian external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj will flag off the programme on September 10 at 10.30 am from Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan in New Delhi.
