Averting major terrorist attacks in Assam and a few other states, the special cell of the Delhi Police arrested three suspected ISIS terrorists from Goalpara district in Assam on Monday.
Improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were also seized from their possession, the police informed.
The three arrested terrorists have been identified as Ranjeet Ali, Islam and Jamaal.
Special Cell DCP Pramod Kushwaha further said that they suspect the three ISIS terrorists were also involved in Ujjain train blast.
Kushwaha said that the materials recovered from them were somewhat similar to the ones recovered after the train blast.
Police informed the arrested men had plans to blow up Dudhnoi’s Raas festival on Monday night.
