Two more persons succumbed to COVID-19 infection in Assam on Thursday evening, taking the overall death tally in the state to 94.
The deceased have been identified as Aolepshi Jamir (57) of Kamrup Metro and Swapan Saha (45) of Darrang.

This was informed by state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet.
“I mourn the demise of two more #COVID19 patients today, Late Aolepshi Jamir (57) of Kamrup Metro and Late Swapan Saha (45) of Darrang,” he tweeted.
“May God give the bereaved families enough strength to bear the loss. Prayers & condolence,” the tweet added.
