The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam rose to 466 as 39 new cases were reported on Monday afternoon with 35 people testing positive for coronavirus from Golaghat.
Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet said that all swabs of the patients were taken before they were put in quarantine.

Assam now has 402 active cases, and 57 patients have recovered.
Moreover, four people have died of COVID-19 in the state so far.
Three persons have migrated out of the state.
The number of positive cases in Assam has rose exponentially in the last couple of days.
