Three more COVID-19 patients died in Assam on Sunday, taking the state’s overall tally to 38.
Three patients have been identified as Nilakshi Singh (40), Arjun Kumar Ajit Saria (63) and Subhawati Devi Maurya (55).
All of them were admitted in the GMCH COVID ICU in Guwahati.
In a tweet, state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Very sad to inform that 3 #COVID19 + patients – Smt Nilakshi Sing (40) of Guwahati; Mr Arjun Kumar AjitSaria (63) of Nagaon & Mrs Subhawati Devi Maurya (55) of Guwahati admitted in GMCH Covid ICU succumbed to their critical infections between 11.30 pm and 2 am. Condolences.”
