The COVID-19 cases in Mizoram rose to 2656 on Thursday morning as 49 new cases were reported from various COVID-19 testing centres of the state.
Of the new cases, 36 were confirmed through RT-PCR test, 11 were confirmed through RAgT and 2 were confirmed in TruNat test.
Meanwhile, the state now has 417 active cases and 2238 patients have been already discharged from the hospitals and 1 person has succumbed to the diseases in the state so far.
