Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday appealed to the people to follow the Covid-19 guidelines set by the state government.
“Like last year, the people should follow the guidelines set by the state health department. I appeal to everyone to wear masks and sanitize their hands regularly to keep infection at bay,” Sonowal said during his visit to Dibrugarh.
“Everyone should celebrate Bihu adhering to Covid-19 protocols as letting our guard down can bring forth a serious wave of infections,” the chief minister said.
