Seven more persons from Kamrup along with two each from Hojai, Biswanath and Nalbari and one from Nagaon tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday afternoon, shooting up Assam’s total tally to 135.
These numbers were tweeted by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at around 12:00 pm, moments after tweeting about six positive cases.
“Alert – 14 new #COVID + cases confirmed. 7 are from Kamrup, 2 from Hojai, 2 from Biswanath, 1 from Nagaon,2 from Nalbari. Total cases now touch 135,” he tweeted.
“Please #StayAtHome as much as possible and follow all instructions,” the tweet added.
