The total number of recovered/discharged patients in Assam rose to 125 after 16 more patients were discharged from various hospitals on Friday evening.
Among the discharged, 12 are from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital in Guwahati, three are from Silchar Medical College and Hospital and 1 from Jorhat Medical College and Hospital.

A total of 55 new cases have been reported in Assam till the filing of this report, taking the overall tally of the state to 935.
Earlier on the day, six more patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state.
