Assam on Monday reported 215 new COVID-19 cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 2,04,386 cases.
The new cases were detected from a total of 14,225 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

Of the new cases, 46 are from Kamrup Metro, tweeted Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The recovery rate of Assam now stands at 92.26 per cent and active cases rate at 7.29 per cent.
The death percentage of the state now stands at 0.44 per cent.

Sarma, in another tweet earlier in the day, informed that two more patients succumbed to COVID-19 in Assam.
The deceased have been identified as Romoni Sharma (54) and Mrinal Kanti Singa (57), both residents of Kamrup (metro).
The death tally in Assam has now soared to 908.
