With the death of 14 more COVID-19 patients, the death tally in Assam rose to 562 on Sunday, tweeted Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The deceased have been identified as Mahendra Nath (70) of Tinsukia, Subodh Mukharjee (76) of Charaideo, Ratindra Kr CHANDRA (73) of Dibrugarh, Pankaj Chetry (38) of Dibrugarh, Jogeswar Gohain (72) of Golaghat, Badan Dutta (84) of Morigaon, Biresh Ch Malakar (70) of Hojai, Upendra Chandra Kalita (59) of Kamrup (metro), Dayaram Tiwari (78) of Kamrup (Metro), Piyara Begum (55) of Hojai, Raghunath Thakuria (56) of Morigaon, Bhadreswar Gogoi (45) of Golaghat, Karabi Kalita (29) of Baksa and Sant Kumar Lohia (71) of Dibrugarh.
