Unwilling to take any chance, the hotel management as soon as came to know about the latest development in Bhutan, decided to evacuate the floor immediately.

They also put 23 staff members of the hotel, who came in contact with the US tourist, under special observation.

The US national had earlier travelled to Jorhat on February 22 via an Indigo flight and had checked into MV Mahabahu on a seven-day cruise.
