A Congress delegation, which was constituted over the killings of civilians in Nagaland’s Mon district, has reportedly submitted its report to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi.
AICC Nagaland in-charge Ajoy Kumar along with AICC secretary Jitendra Singh and Lok Sabha MP Gaurav Gogoi submitted the report to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday.

Kumar in a tweet said that Gandhi has advised them on working for the people of Nagaland in particular and the whole of the Northeast.

At least 14 civilians were killed in two separate incidents of firing by Assam Rifles troops earlier this month at the Oting area of Mon district in Nagaland.
Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on December 7 had constituted a four-member team to visit Nagaland and submit a report on the civilian killings.
The delegation comprises AICC general secretary Jitendra Singh, AICC’s Nagaland in-charge Ajoy Kumar, Lok Sabha MPs Gaurav Gogoi and Anto Antony.
The Congress party also demanded a discussion on the Nagaland incident on Nagaland incident in both houses of Parliament.
