Come Tuesday, ‘fiery tea’ with bhut jolokia to hit Assam markets

A fiery tea, containing the world’s hottest chilli Bhut jolokia as one of its ingredients, will hit the markets of Guwahati on Tuesday.

The tea named as ‘Aromica Fiery Tea’ is manufactured by a private tea company Tender Buds Teas & Craft Pvt Ltd.

Apart from bhut jolokia, the product contains natural black pounded tea, ginger and lemon powder.

As per reports, the tea will be available in 25 stores of Tender Buds Teas & Craft Pvt Ltd present in Guwahati.

The cost of a 70 gm packet of ‘Aromica Fiery Tea’ is Rs 700. The tea will be available for sale on online sites as well.

The founding director of Tender Buds Teas & Craft Pvt Ltd Ranjit Baruah claimed that they had seen tea products blended with normal chilli but not a single one has been found to be blended with Bhut jolokia.

He also claimed that ‘Aromica Fiery Tea’ might be the first tea product in the world to be blended with Bhut jolokia.

Tender Buds Teas & Craft Pvt Ltd which was set up in November 2018 sells eighteen varieties of special tea products.

Apart from Ranjit Baruah, the other directors of the company include Utpaljeet Baruah, Ranjurekha Sarmah Baruah, Dolly Sharma Baruah and Kakolee Baruah Bordoloi.
