Chief of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) – Pramod Boro is considering putting a ban on sales and distribution of KTM bikes in the BTR.
Pramod Boro said that in most of the accidents caused in the BTR, KTM bikes are involved.
Boro warned the KTM bike owners to avoid rash riding to avoid ban.
“Sale and distribution of KTM bikes in BTR will be banned if bikers do not stop rash riding,” the BTC chief said.
He added: “KTM bikes are found involved in most of the accidents that happen in the BTR.”

Pramod Boro also expressed concern over the immaturity that youngsters show while riding motorcycles.
“Youngsters need to understand that when someone dies, families go through a lot of pain,” Boro said.
