The arrested person has been identified as Dipen Saikia.
Dipen Saikia has been arrested by police from Tamuli Bongaon in Digboi for his alleged involvement in the grenade blast at Tingrai Bazaar in Digboi on Friday.

The police are also questioning others in connection with the case.
Tinsukia police has also released a photo of two motorcycle-borne miscreants.
Tinsukia police has also announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh for anyone giving information about the miscreants in the photo.
The police stated that both the miscreants are wanted in the Tingrai Bazaar grenade blast on Friday.

Two persons were killed and two others injured in a grenade blast in the market area of Tingrai under Digboi police station in Tinsukia on Friday.
The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Sanjit Singh and 22-year-old Surajit Talukdar, both residents of Tingrai area.
Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma strongly condemned the killing of the two innocent lives.
“We will take strong action against the persons who are behind the dastardly act,” chief minister Sarma said.
