The rally, which was participated by the BJP Yuva Morcha activists, arrived at the deputy commissionerโ€™s office and forcefully entered the DCโ€™s office campus.

When the party workers were stopped at the buildingโ€™s main gate, they became furious and demanded that the door be opened so that they can meet the DC.

However, at that time, DC Varnali Deka was not in her office.

As the BJP activists did not find the DC in her office, the general secretary of Goalpara BJP, Dipankar Roy, called the DC over the phone and lashed out at the district administration chief for her absence in front of camera.

Dipankar Roy questioned deputy commissioner Deka over the phone: โ€œDo you want to stay here or not?โ€
He also questioned: โ€œWhy have you fled from office. Why have you fled seeing us ?โ€
He also told the Goalpara DC: โ€œYou canโ€™t show such โ€˜motionโ€™ with us.โ€
The district BJP president also asked her to arrive at her office to meet them.
Roy said: โ€œYou come here and receive our memorandum. You receive other political partiesโ€™ memorandums. But we are the ruling party.โ€
