The second biennial Ranjali Bwisagu came to its end on Sunday at Namrup Kachari Pathar. The celebration was organised by Dibrugarh district Ranjali Bwisagu committee.

The celebration started with plantation programme by deputy range officer of Namrup Dilli beat Pranab Kalita.  Hundreds of people from all walks of life from Namrup and Namrup Kachari Pathar attended the programme.

Addressing the gathering chief guest Lomshrau Doimary who is also the executive member of Bodoland Territorial Council said, “The Bodoland has its own distinct dance, song and dress so people of every tribe should know their own culture. It is always shameful if one does not know anything about his or her culture.”

A souvenir Bardoi Shikhla was released on the occasion by  Udalguri Bathou Maha Sabha district  general secretary Solen Doimari.
