Assam‘s Minister for Cooperation, Nandita Gorlosa, officially launched the products in Guwahati, emphasizing their potential to contribute to the state’s dairy sector growth.
The flavored milk is manufactured at Purabi Dairy’s state-of-the-art facility in Panjabari, which was developed under the World Bank-funded APART project. This investment in infrastructure demonstrates Purabi’s commitment to providing high-quality products and expanding its market reach.
The launch of flavored milk aligns with the Assam government’s vision of increasing milk production in the state. By offering products with extended shelf life and added value, Purabi aims to meet the growing demand for dairy products and support local farmers.

“Purabi is not just a brand; it represents the aspirations of the Assamese people. The launch of these new products is a step towards realizing our Chief Minister’s goal of producing 10 lakh liters of milk daily in Assam,” said Minister Gorlosa.
The flavored milk is available in convenient 180ml PP bottles with a shelf life of five months, making it easier to distribute and reach a wider customer base.
The product’s ambient storage capabilities eliminate the need for cold chain maintenance, further enhancing its accessibility.
