Most wanted rhino poacher of Assam – Jobi Gadi has been arrested by the State’s Forest department and police in Arunachal Pradesh.
The rhino poacher – Jobi Gadi was arrested by the joint team of Assam Forest and Police personnel in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.
The rhino poacher was arrested from Naharlagun in a joint operation by the Assam Forest department and personnel of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh police.
The rhino poacher – Jobi Gadi has been accused of being involved in many poaching incidents at the Kaziranga National Park.

Jobi Gadi allegedly has been involved in poaching one-horned rhinos, which is found only at the Kaziranga National Park, since 2010.
“The accused had been poaching rhinos in the Kaziranga National Park since a long time. He is also involved in smuggling of rhino horns,” informed officials of Assam Forest department.
Notably, Jobi Gadi has allegedly killed over 30 one-horned rhinos at the Kaziranga National Park since 2016.
