The Don Bosco University in Assam’s Guwahati has feature in the 2021 Impact Rankings by the TIMES Higher Education World University Rankings.
The university has been ranked 301-400 in the Impact Rankings.

Don Bosco University ranked the highest among the higher educational institutions from Northeast India.
A total of 49 higher educational institutions from India have made it to the list and the university holds the sixth position amongst them along with the University of Calcutta.
The Mizoram University (a central university) that has been ranked at 601-800 and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Assam’s Silchar that has been ranked at 801-1000 are the institutes from the Northeast featuring in the list of rankings.

Don Bosco University’s founding vice chancellor, Fr. Stephen Mavely said, “Don Bosco University’s highest score is under UN SDG 15 with a score of 72.9 out of 100 which is ‘Life on Land’ where we are ranked at 53 in the world.”
“It is a testament of the eco-friendly green campus that the University prides itself,” said Mavely.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings access universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Specific indicators are used in providing comprehensive and balanced comparison in areas of research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.
The overall ranking includes 1,115 universities from 94 countries/regions.
