Kamrup-Metro, Barpeta, Cachar, Dhemaji, Morigaon and Tinsukia districts recorded one COVID-19 death case each.
According to the latest health bulletin released by the Assam Health Department, the State has recorded 639 fresh COVID-19 cases, of which more than half have been reported from in and around Guwahati city.

As many as 354 fresh COVID-19 cases have been detected from Kamrup-Metro district.
Apart from Kamrup-Metro, cases were also reported from the districts of Kamrup-Rural (35), Nagaon (28) and Dibrugarh (26).
Assam’s COVID-19 positivity rate on Sunday was recorded at 2.74 percent.
Assam’s COVID-19 active cases tally has shot up to 5268.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 death toll in Assam has also risen to 1135.
