In an unfortunate event, a youth went missing after he went for a swim in Dhansiri river in Bhairabkunda in Udalguri district on Sunday.
Identified as Vishnu Upadhyay (31), the missing youth is an inhabitant of Khangkhalabari village of Udalguri district.
Although the SDRF personnel attempted to trace the body, all efforts proved to be futile.
Meanwhile, police also reached the site and began their investigations.
