Guwahati: A woman was reportedly killed after being run over by a train in Bijni, Assam on Tuesday.
However, while the incident was reported to be an accident, it has now been suspected to be a suicide.

Reports claimed the elderly woman was killed at around 1 am.
She was reported to be a resident of the Baghmara area in Bijni.

Immediately after the incident, the police recovered the body and initiated an investigation.
Police said that looking into the circumstances of the death it seemed to be a case of suicide.
An investigation is being carried out by the police.
