Guwahati: Three persons including a woman were arrested in Dhemaji, Assam on Saturday for allegedly murdering a man.
The deceased was identified as the arrested woman’s ex-husband.

The trio was arrested in Jonai of Dhemaji, Assam.
They were identified as Banita Tao, Amar Tao and Ashok Tao.
Police said that the victim was identified as Bhuban Konwar who was recently found dead under suspicious circumstances.

It was earlier reported that the trio attempted to cover the incident as a suicide but later it turned out to be a possible murder.
The police found the murder angle after an investigation.
Bhuban’s family had alleged Banita and the other two of being behind the death which was seen as a possible murder.
Police sources, however, said that the entire incident would come out only after a thorough investigation.
The three suspects were nabbed based on suspicion.
