Jorhat: Following the recent floods that affected several parts of Assam, Vedanta Oil & Gas has launched a flood relief initiative to support affected communities in the region.
As part of the drive, the company is providing dry ration kits and safe drinking water to flood-hit families in Teok and Jorhat areas of Jorhat district, as well as Namati in Sivasagar district. The assistance aims to address immediate requirements and support communities during the recovery phase.
The relief packages include essential items such as rice, dal, edible oil, potatoes, onions, candles, and clean drinking water to help families cope with the difficulties caused by the floods.
Vedanta Oil & Gas Limited said it remains committed to supporting communities in its operational areas through timely humanitarian assistance and long-term development initiatives. The company is also working with local stakeholders to strengthen relief and recovery efforts in the affected regions.
