After preliminary investigation and medical check-up, the apprehended over-ground worker, Konwar was handed over to Lahowal Police Station where an FIR has been lodged.

It may be mentioned that the Jagun Police in Tinsukia district arrested a suspected militant of the anti-talk faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA-I) linkman from Jagun’s No 2 Faneng during a joint operation with 13th Battalion of Assam Rifles on June 10, 2018.
