Over-speeding has been a major reason for most road accidents in Assam and with no proper mechanism being in place to monitor over-speeding, two youth in Hojai’s Doboka were killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening.
The deceased were identified as Saidul Islam and Faruk Ahmed.
As per some eyewitnesses, they were riding a Bajaj Pulsar 200NS which they had riding very harshly.
They were claimed to be over-speeding and had hit a wall on a flyover as they lost control of their bike.
They then hit a tree and before anyone could know, they were dead.
The locals tried to save them but doctors in the hospital claimed them as brought dead.
The locals said that over-speeding seem to be a major issue in the area and youth in the area are usually seen riding their motorcycles very harshly with no proper monitoring being in place.
