Guwahati: Two suspected drug traffickers were arrested by the police in Morigaon, Assam for allegedly possessing a massive consignment of suspected ganja.
According to reports, the suspects were arrested with over 75 kilograms of ganja.

The accused were identified as s Rahul Amin and Qazim Uddin.

They were arrested during an operation in the Bhuragaon area of Morigaon.

The ganja is estimated to be worth several lakhs.
Further investigation is being carried out by the police.

The duo is suspected of being involved in cross-border smuggling and has been operational across multiple districts, police said.
Both of them were arrested based on specific inputs presented by the police.
A police source said the ganja seized was meant for peddling in Morigaon.
