Two minors in Mankachar committed suicide by consuming poison on Saturday night.
The incident was reported from the Futamari area of the town.
As per sources, the minors were a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Both of them consumed poison over reasons best known to them.
Their families claimed that both of them had an affair and once this was known by the family there were some objections.

However, the families said that there was no harassment or torture on them which would have forced them to take the extreme step.
Some locals claimed that even after consuming the poison, both of them were seen roaming around the area.
But once their health began to see a deterioration, they were rushed by locals who noticed them.

The doctors tried to save them but by the time they had reached the hospital, they had collapsed and were declared dead by the doctors.
