Guwahati: At least two Bangladeshi girls were reportedly rescued from New Bongaigaon in Assam by officials of the Railway Protection Force.
As per the reports, the teenage girls were allegedly trafficked into India from Dhaka in Bangladesh to India.

Both the girls were reported to have gone through physical torture at the border before being trafficked into India.

While it was not confirmed why they were brought into India, it was reported that they were being taken to Hyderabad where they would have been “forced” to work at a massage parlour.

They were tracked by the RPF team based on inputs.

The girls were found on an Agartala-Hyderabad bound train last night.
It was further found that they had entered India through the international border in Tripura.
Fake Indian documents were also recovered from them.
An investigation has been initiated.
