Assam tourism ambassador Priyanka Chopra is among the Forbes 2018 list of 100 most powerful women in the world.
The 36 year old actor bagged the 94th position among the list of 100 powerful women.
Forbes released the 2018 list of 100 most powerful women in the world which comprises of leading women from different fields.
Apart from Chopra, three other Indian women who features in the Forbes list includes- Roshni Nadar Malhotra, CEO of HCL Enterprise in 51st position, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, managing director of Biocon Limited in the 60th position, Shobana Bhartia , chairperson of Hindustan Times Group in the 88th position.
The Quantico star who recently married American singer Nick Jonas also owns a production company based in Mumbai known as Purple Pebble Pictures which promotes regional filmmakers and emerging Indian talent.
The production house owned by Chopra recently produced two films from northeast, Sikkimese film Pahuna and Assamese film Bhoga Khirkee.
The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and UN Foundation Girl Up Champion also launched the Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education in 2004 through which she donates 10 per cent of her earnings to her foundation to provide a range of educational and medical aid to those less fortunate.
