KAZIRANGA: Several persons sustained injuries after a night service bus met with an accident in the wee hours of Thursday (May 16) at Kohora area under Kaziranga in Assam.
According to reports, the driver of the bus lost control of the steering, causing the bus to veer into a ditch.

Initial reports indicate that the incident occurred around 12am of Thursday (May 16).
At the time of the accident, the bus was carrying approximately 30-40 passengers.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties.

The accident occurred near a petrol pump in Kohora area of Assam.
The bus involved in the accident, named ‘Kriti’, with registration number AS-12-E-9381, was traveling from Tezpur to Tinsukia.
Locals rushed to the scene to assist the injured passengers and transported them to a nearby hospital.
Following the accident, authorities contacted the passengers’ immediate relatives and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
